Almost Round, Lake Poem by Manonton Dalan

Almost Round, Lake

those pretty bicycles rolling
with colorful flags waving
some with horn to let you
they're passing near you
that's neat to say 'hi' too
on this day, summer glow

my slipper is holding heat
from gravel fix with sand
no ticks, mosquito, insects
wind must have blown them
or maybe they're still asleep
tonight would be time to bite
