All Sport (Radio Contest) Poem by Sherri Vogel

All Sport (Radio Contest)

Image Printing is our name
Womens softball is our game.
Proud and glad we are a team
Winning is our only dream.
The sun is shining really bright
There's not a puffy cloud in sight.
No wind blowing, humidity high
It's Tuesday the 11th of July.
We're out in the field
At the good ol' ball park
With our softball coaches
Dan, Digger, and Mark.
Before starting the game
We each drink a cup
Of All Sport
And then batter up.
We're out in the field
And then up to bat
Go through many innings
And now we are at
That time in the game
Where we come to find
It's the nineth inning
And we are behind.
Two of our batters
Have already struck out
If she swings but misses
We're losers no doubt.
Bases are loaded
We're having fun
We won the game
She hit a home run.
Exitement, fulfillment
Now fill the air
People are clapping
Their hands everywhere.
The reason we think
We should win from our glory
Is because we just just made up
This ridiculous story.
If the whole time you read it
You thought it was true
Then KAT Country we deserve
All Sport from you.
'Cause the other team forfeited
We did not even play
We just had to practice
The rest of the day.
