All I Want In This World Is You Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

All I Want In This World Is You

I ain't wanting much in this world
This one thing I ask is free
I ain't caring about all those
who may use their heart for greed

I just want you to myself
You belong to no one else
It's something I look to
All I want in this world is you

I ain't trying to hold me hostage
often seems that it's the case
If there's someone who makes me happy
Come put a smile onto my face

oh, I ain't wanting much in this world
I ain't gonna even let it show
and if I have to keep on waiting
I'll take it easy, let it flow

I don't have too many interests
there's only one for me to pick
I don't even have time for
Something that'll pass by quick

oh, all the sights to see
of hands holding everywhere
and the look of loving
seems to fill the air

everyone here is smiling
and it is so beguiling
yeah, I know exactly what I need
Someone to love made simply for me
