Against A Racist Poem by Randy McClave

Against A Racist

This is my bases
I will not ever support a racist,
No matter the color of the skin
I will not ever support that evil and sin.
You might be the same color as me
But, on one point we will always disagree,
If you believe that you and I are better
Just because we wear the same colored sweater.
If you don't care about racism against others
Then I truly don't care about your druthers,
Especially when against racism you scream and shout
But, only when it is your race they are talking about.
A racist I am not
Against it I have preached and wrote and fought,
Many will scream about racism against their race
But, only when they are smacked on the face.
This I will say with my spiritual belief and pride
We all are the very same color inside,
You can always look into a colored prism
There you will not ever find any racism.
One more thing I will say with a boast and a brag
I will not ever support a racist banner or flag,
If you fly it with a racist belief or view
Then to our friendship, I will then bid adieu.
