Acoustic Guitar Poem by Steve Hancock

Acoustic Guitar

Curvaceous as voluptuous woman
Sawn cedar and rosewood grand
Contours of classic dreadnought
Crafted by Luthiers hand

Dedication of delicate fingers
Unaccustomed and so untoward
Scour the fretted expansion
Of augmented and major chord

Fossilized ivory bridge pins
Machine heads of shimmering chrome
Harmonic strings of angels sigh
Resonate like whispering dome
