About The Shadow-War Poem by Gert Strydom

About The Shadow-War

'Jesus answered them, 'See to it that no one deceives you, because many will come in My name and say, 'I am the Messiah, ' and they will deceive many people. You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen but the end us still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. Matthew 24: 4-13

"It is God who alters the times and seasons,
and he removes kings. He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning." Daniel 2: 21

1
Against integrity, honesty and sincerity
a war rages on with deceit and lies,
as the most vile and evil people tries
to alter how the absolute truth is to be,

do people want the world how they like to see,
where that which is just and fair out-cries,
and little by little faith and truth dies,

where admit this attack I do write,
when it is said I do not conform to values,
which pertain to lies as by others pressed down,
I do my best to serve God in each day and night,
against Him big-business in a struggle continues
with how they want society to be in each town.

2
In controlling speech Twitter and Facebook act primal,
do try to destroy an omnipotent creator God,
where both sexes are turned around,

time and again and against nature mixed,
if you stick to reality they do you bar,
they deem people are non-binary and prefixed,
are against how things in reality really are,

are towards Him with deception at odd,
directly I avoid deceit in any way that it comes,
to them there is no higher being or God
and to me these people are past being fool-some:

they have no character from within,
and embrace each ungodliness and sin.

3
In the shadows they sneak around
and enact their strategy and schemes,
do betwixt life that it different seems,
are with their footing on unsteady ground,

comes with ideas as facts that are unsound:
for humanity they do have evil and vile dreams,
and they alter facts that things different seems,
think that they can people totally unwound

but You, my Lord, do judge and control all,
do into thoughts, the hearts of men see,
know how it's to be in advance
where mortally men do live and fall
but You do exist without mortality,
do try lives of men with goodness to enhance,

4
against me You do turn around each attack,
as Putin threatens with nuclear war,
as Xi Jinping does not China rule any more,
do know where and when evil wants to distract,

do the ways and lives of each mortal track
have acted in goodwill a thousand years before,
do each human and I at heart adore,
as You resist darkness and do turn evil back,

and how things really are is to be revealed,
the absolute truth does forever stand,
where to Your insight nothing is sealed,
all power, righteousness and life is in Your hand,
against Chinese biological weapons men are healed,
You reveal my words even when I am banned.

The rules of Facebook's community standards are: authenticity,
safety, privacy, and also dignity
according to what they do state.
So do express where I did Putin or Russia degrade,
where I have voided any privacy of late,
where my facts are not true or do have hate?
For an answer in this I do in vain wait,

but then in court Mark Zuckerberg did admit,
that 'Fact-Checkers are just opinion, '
opinion, against me, about what in Russia is going on,
as Facebook does seen it to be fit,
I ask where absolute truth, is and being authentic?

Without the big-business-power, God to me bestow,
the true facts about the things I want to know,
do people and reports bring to me
and some do speak in secrecy.
I do not twist things how I want it to be,
I stick to facts wherever they do go.

It is so difficult for me to see
where any of these I have broken,
in measured words my poems have spoken,
where without any reply you term me guilty to be

but then you do have your own scheme of things,
do want to take action that your opinion brings,
while constantly I search and pray for the right way,
do despise lies and deceit; try on the right way to stay.

[Poet's notes: Facebook is not the only place where I do publish my poems.

I have been banned for six days on Facebook for a poem that consists out of twenty different sonnets and that I have translated to Afrikaans. It was stated that I acted against the values of the Facebook community.

It's clear that Facebook does not hold to
Freedom of Speech and to Freedom of Religion
which is stipulated in the South African constitution, as rights that cannot be just taken away.

I hold dearly to Christian values that they do not really follow. I stick to the absolute truth. The poem was a Situation Report on the war in the Ukraine, spoke about the sham referendum by Russia, conducted under the barrel of a gun, about Putin saying to his General-Staff that he is planning to use a nuclear strike on a town on the border of Ukraine and Poland, about martial law that is planned to come in effect in all of Russia, about the 1.3 million Russians that Putin is calling up that will be nothing but canon-fodder, in another terrible winter. About Russia's friends that are facing disarray: Xi Jinping is in house-arrest and there are riots in Tehran. Where I have stayed with the absolute truth, I do not know how this goes against community standards. For a long time my poems have been shadow banned in Facebook to reach fewer people. I stick to absolute truth, to how things really are and to honesty and choose to stand avoid from deceitful people and their lies, to stand avoid from politics unless I am forced by actions of others to speak-out. Banning me now right-out, will not stop the truth to come out and I do not care if Facebook do not have the same intelligence and sources that God do provide to me, to do their so-called fact-checking to do it in time.

As far as I am concerned where they hit on me,
they try to express their point of view
and not the absolute truth, of how things really are.

The banned poem had been time specific.
Facebook is not the only place that I publish poems:

Integrity is not something
about the colour of skin,
it's something at heart,
with character from within,
of what we truly are a part

Righteousness draws to its light,
comes from a Godly relationship and insight;
brings change even if we win or loose,
by what in life we do and choose,
draws not by force or might,

as daily we dwell in God's presence,
do shine as a beacon brightening the way,
in the things we constantly do and say
that tells of our presence and of our essence,
do with something special goodness portray.

After being banned From Facebook I have again been banned for responding with this poem.]
