A Woman At Last - Poem by Carmella Opie

A woman at I. carefully planning my steps...
leaving nothing to go by.

The distance ahead is wonderous...exciting...fearful...
but I'll get by...because I'll try.

Decision making will be judge properly...
to make things time.

A woman at I. Your hand is outstretched towards mine...
I feel confident I'll try...and I'll get by.
