A Touch Of Honey & A Year In May Poem by Kevin Lowell

A Touch Of Honey & A Year In May

Rating: 4.5

A touch of honey and a year in May
Tis the way it feels today
Doing what the rest of the universe is doing
I will hum my song- a breath of life
expansion and contraction

under the shade of the loneliest tree, atop the proudest hill
at the address I'll know as the here and now

Chase each moment, and be alive from within
Alive from without
Living just beyond the lines of uncertainty
I am grounded but unbound
Expansive- growing; learning; evolving
I am slowly becoming the universe
knowing itself to tell itself
it exists

It not be May or a touch of honey
It may choose to be whatever it feels it should be
but it be the same
a beautiful moment in my life

Beautiful poetry. Savouring beautiful moments to their fullness without worry or fear is truly an art, the art of living. Excellent
