Just Let Go Poem by Kevin Lowell

Just Let Go

Rating: 5.0

Fractured be the sky
as is the night, as is the day

Everything carries me to you

Memories of you are made of laughter, of smiles, of days in Autumn
yet-
the lens of my world is a filter of nostalgia with a touch of grey
my mind a projector of a silent film
I watch with a glass of wine and a heart half poured

Memories are becoming unfocused
colors bleed into each, creating a new portrait altogether

...I'm not ready, please don't take it away...

while I still can find you when I close my eyes I will
Always.
Because I love you.
