A Super Power Poem by P.J. Lowry

A Super Power

There are days I wish that I could fly
I would glide over to her chamber window
and together we would sail into the sky
leaving the cold, wicked world below.

Or if I could stop or turn back the clock
it would grant me more hours, one more day
to hold your hand, take another long walk
as I desire to be with her in every possible way.

One thing I want more than a magical power
is for her to discover the love I have for her.
If she did too, my hear would bloom like a flower
as not being with her feels like a crime against nature.

She has no idea how I feel, not a single clue
how her love can heal, make me feel brand new.
