A Sonnet To Felisse Poem by Geovanni Leaño

A Sonnet To Felisse

Rating: 5.0

I'm really happy since the day we've first met,
I gave you a smile and asked what your name is,
'Felisse' that name was in my head 'till sunset,
And I never forget about that promise,

And that day, when I dared to stare at those eyes,
Those eyes as beautiful as the vast night sky,
That day, I wandered and came to realize,
That you and me act like a single firefly,

A firefly so gorgeous dancing in the dark,
Dancing freely in the chilling windy night,
Exaggerating the beauty of the dark,
You are always the light in my darkest night,

After the prom, you will still be my partner,
Engrave this in your heart: 'You're my best partner.'
