A Single Drop Poem by rowan ahmed

A Single Drop

Rating: 5.0

rivers flow down my mountains
high peeks of crystal white
skies of pure blue garnished with stars
in horizons shining with light
and showing me the path
through the darkness of night
a single dropp awaken the river
and so it run so mighty
washing away impurities
standing against mounts of hight
so strong they both were
and along came a fight
the fight was unfair
though, it was just right
there was a triumph and a defeat
though the difference was so slight
blindness ruled, no one could see anything
only visions of insight
even if, it won't matter
though the truth is so bright
it's just too vague and sheer
to realise it with our shallow sight.........

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I particularly like this poem because of the beautiful imagery used in the beginning through to the middle. You write straight from your heart and I give you 10/10 for encouragement to work through your rain to sunshine again. Karin Anderson
