A Shrewd Studious Poem by Muhammad Farhan

A Shrewd Studious

Rating: 5.0

I was flickering the pages
The pages of science
Just cause mom scolded me
That I didn't always had
The books and ambitions in my mind
But for her, pretending to be a studious sincere boy
I picked up science
I professed her that I'm in profound concentration
That her boy started studies
For his examination before his ambition
"Oh Mom! Don't stare me that way
I'm a little shy and you know it"
You know what next
I was scolded once again!
Umm…Never mind cause I got to study
Aimed my eyes to the book buddy
"Alright…let's Planck Quantum Theory! "
I was still puzzled
Of what to study
For the third time
Now I can't laugh her in giddy
Or for the third time
I can get scolded an again!
So I preferred the studies to be better
And this time, preventing myself
From getting distracted
For the sake of my future ambitions
For the sake of my teenage dreams to come true
Forgetting the games and the niggling toys
Got my pen and textbook this time
Inbeing pretentious to Mom this time
I was studying
Considering it a fugitive spasm! ! ! : p
