A Second Chance Poem by Miranda DeNooyer

A Second Chance

Rating: 5.0

Spend all your life waiting
For that second chance
With past time all hating
Wishing on the final dance;
There's always some reason
To feel not good enough
You go season by season
Ev'ry thing gets so rough;
I need some distraction
Or beautiful release
It's time to take action
It's agains all my beliefs;
My life feels so empty
And weightless, I fear
That ev'ry one left me
I must leave from here.

this poem speaks the truth for a lot of us about not feeling apreciated or feeling like we dont meet others standards. and that redemption is so hard to acheive.

This poem is a great piece of work, because it is very true.
