A Sad Wind From The Sea Poem by David Harris

A Sad Wind From The Sea

Rating: 5.0

Every so often, we feel
a sad wind from the sea.
It blows an ill wind
throughout our lives,
turns joy into sadness
whenever it comes along.
We are always happy
when the wind is gone,
returning to where it belongs
that sad wind from the sea.

Yes David, the sad wind should belong to the sea...

What an evocative image - a sad wind. Yes, sometimes it does feel as if there is an external force (fate perhaps?) that determines how high the waves rise. Lovely poem. Allie xxxx

Yes indeed David, I'm not a windy day person, as it does nothing for the hairdo. Winds normally bring no good, but maybe they can blow away a cobweb or two. Nice write. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
