Mary Wismer had a heart of gold and it shone through true. Just a while and she has made you feel she's been there all along. A wonderful selfless creature - wanted me to join her on a spiritual mission. Left behind her family - a darling daughter, beautiful as her mother and herself a poet in her own right, with a heart as tender as her's, loving and just so wonderful, cared so well by her good father. Wonder why Mary couldn't live on - perhaps its just as Moses couldn't see the promised land. They both didn't need to. Their purpose in life got fulfilled and they're ready for God's kingdom and eternal life. We who are left behind still perhaps don't qualify. That's why we still make do with breath in our earthen shells.
Y.ou are the most amazing Poet I ever met, and your words are truely from the heart, this are for me a real poetry than, anything I read around the netz. very meaningful and full of love anf faith on each words, like as we are as a human
I only knew her for a few weeks of time. She reviewed my poetry and I think I
may have reviewed one or two of hers. During this time, however, we had
many, many chats online. I told her my views on poetry. I never really read
much of hers. Most of what I remember is what she wrote about mine.
Mary Wismer, should be remembered for what she truly was. A great
human being who happened to be an artist. She told me several times
that she didn't consider herself to be a poet. She said she sang and was
a painter. I never heard her sing, but I did look up her paintings and they
looked like art to me.
She did share her soul with me . So much so, that I felt it when she died.
To me, that's where her art truly was. In her grace and humanity.

.. and only the good die young.... read Mary and be carried by angels... her powerful spirit will continue to uplift and shine illuminous beauty... her record keeping here shows her love and commitment to her God and her family. Mary's illness always remained second fiddle to the meaningful works that she embodied us with here at PH and no doubt elsewhere to eternity.
