A Sad Day For Me Poem by Ishmael E. Balfour

A crow fly in the dark grey sky,
The clouds are heavy with sorrow!
It's a grey day for some but others are smiling,
Darkness full the sky and the winds blow with angry!
A storm is coming in from the west,
The rain is coming from the east?
What a bad day for us to see,
The earth is in pain, so it cries away!
From where I stand I bow my head low,
Has sorrow take a hold of my soul?
I feel heavy like a weight,
Depression is setting in again!
I must try to escape from this place,
Only if I had the strength to say I can....
