Life And Friends Poem by Ishmael E. Balfour

Life And Friends

In life we accept that who we are chasing isn't always going to like us back.

We can't change who they like or their minds but we wish one day they like us.

We sometime need to stop dreaming and open up our eyes.

Not all truth that lay before us are true.

There times where we give up and turn around.

To chase someone who chasing us.

Go back to people we liked.

Give chances to people we liked as friends.

Then we see who they are and like them more.

Like them for their personal not looks.

Judge them by pages not cover of the book.

Care for them not hurt them.

This part of life were we don't learn in school.

Isn't read to us when in grade one and two.

Only find out then teens to adulthood.

This isn't a poem or a speech.

It's something I find neat.
