A poet's words,
Are a vaccine,
For all the world's ills.
Rays of sunshine,
To those in the dark,
Life preservers,
To those drowning alone.
Water to those,
who thirst for knowledge,
Nourishment,
To those who hunger.
Oxygen, to the down trodden,
And the opressed.
Courage, to the timid,
And the weak.
A poets words,
Are freedom,
To those in captivity,
A soft pillow, to the dreamers.
Chocolates and flowers,
To those in love,
And a singing soul,
To praise the almighty.

A poets words, Are freedom, To those in captivity, A soft pillow, to the dreamers. Wow.. what a lovely poem Sir.. you are a great store of poetic gems.. the desert has made you so soft and refined although lonely.
Your words, hand picked pearls strung perfectly...elegant and should be taken out, displayed on many an occassion. Your poetry, fine gems...I shall secure them away in my jewelry box. PEACE dear friend o mine.
