A Poet

A poet is a prophet
In writing garb
And spirit
On crucial assignment

A crystal clear channel
A vast vessel
A transmitter
Spreading divine messages
Sweet and bitter
Packages
Many and varied
Undiluted

A poet is like an angel
Heaven's chief messenger
Gabriel
Appointed to minister
Unto mankind.
