Inside myself
I've never dreamt of hurting anyone
But I've hurt the one I love
The dark shadows in his eyes
Caused by my misunderstanding
His pain in the place
Worse than hell inside
A heart twisted in pain
Each organ inflamed
Burning the cavities
Of my emptiness

I do not expect his forgiveness
For I've broken my promise
To keep him safe in my arms
