' A Passing Bliss On A Graceless Earth' Poem by Ahmed Sayer

' A Passing Bliss On A Graceless Earth'

When you unexpectedly smile
Angles light the theater of your soul
Garnish that stage with pink and turquoise ribbons
Then start a show called ' A Passing Bliss on A Graceless Earth'
They play bracing symphonies on keys, strings and drums
, dance a delicately tender ballet
, invite hummingbirds
, recall raindrops
And fling red roses everywhere
Till i seize that stage
To tell you a poem
But tongue was thunderstruck by that euphoria
& panic-struck by reality's ticking clock
Till time runs out and your smile fades away.
Darling
Smile on and on!
Don't draw the curtains of your soul
And Keep that show timeless.
