I need a new way
The old way is gone
We had something special
And everything went wrong

I am to blame
And so is she
Together we make a pair
The best that best can be

Now I need
To put together
A broken history lost
I need a new way
To get to her
Love with all my heart

So now I look
And wonder if
A new path is near
All I can do is try
Real hard
To make her mine again

She needs to know I love her
I forgive her for what was said
And also I know I made mistakes
And am sorry for what I did

In all my life I will never find
One as good as this
She is the best there ever was
To live to love to cherish

Now to find a new way
Rekindle what was ours
To feel her love
One more time
And dance beneath the stars
