A Child Is Born Poem by christopher flynn

A Child Is Born

Rating: 5.0

Animal instinct of pure desire
Sets a tone of heat and fire
Brings us closer to a special place
To carry on the human race

Oh how dull
Life would be
Without the best
Of you and me

Would we ever
Be together
To share life's precious treasure
In the good and in the bad
To complement each other's path

Oh the tough days they will come
A lot more work
And a lot less fun
Forged from a passion
We cannot control
Our lives intermingled
When a child is born

Hey Christopher: Thanks for reading A Broken Heart. I liked this piece that you've done here. May God bless all the unfortunate men and women, trapped down here on Earth's sad and lonely sphere-here-MJG.
