A Mystery Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

A Mystery

Rating: 0.5

A dove or raven;
He is the thing,
With feathers,
Perched in the brain,
Sings songs
Without words,
Gifted with body,
Breath and wings,
Through my mind,
Takes His devious flight,
In vain I am leaping,
To catch His fleeting light,
With enchanting smile,
He moves so swift,
My intellect fails
To trace His source’s light,
A wondrous thing,
A genius and comrade
Of solitude, seated in
An imagination’s seat,
Here this moment,
There next moment,
With little or no notice,
Hurrying to the remotest,
Oh, mysterious thought
From where you are coming,
To where you are going,
You play a vital part,
In shaping world’s fate,
You are delicate, and
At the same time so intricate,
Can you enlighten me
With your secrets……….
