A Mothers Touch Poem by Nakia Crespin

A Mothers Touch

Minute by minute, the cries of a young child,
Then there's no sound,
He finally went to sleep? No he continues to cry,
Please babe stop crying I'm doing all I can I'm trying,
To be the best mom I can,
Believe you me I'm trying with every bit of energy I can gather up,
Please don't cry (go lay with him) Ok,
Hey love, how are you? It's ok, don't cry everythings alright,
(Caress his head, massage his feet, rub his tummy) , oh that feels good huh baby,
Oh my love it's ok don't cry,
Hush little baby don't you cry............,
Twinkle, Twinkle little star how I........,
That's my good boy, (give him a kiss) , I love you.. I love you,
The best feeling i've ever had was watching my sons eyes fall heavy as he falls asleep in my arms.
