A Memory Never Forgotten

The article just as i saw it the week after
Tears stream down my face
I remember it all
Just as if it happened yesterday
Going to class
Watching my teacher
The look on her face
Sad and scared
We all knew something was wrong
She sat there on that stool
Told us she fainted...
That she wasn't going to make it...
We were so young
And to lose her...
Was a knife to our little hearts...

She was sweet
Kind and caring
She was athletic
Loved basketball
She got along with everyone
But hated bullies
She loved to run
Loved to do her school work
She loved her family
And everyone loved her

We all cried
I remember i broke down first
Then Evelin did
People went outside
We all cried
After a while I thought of it
I thought others needed a shoulder
I stopped crying and took care of them

April 19th 2008 Lucina was gone
She was taken off of life support
It was all because of an aneurysm...
I miss her i really do
Every year April 17th to the 19th
I remember it all
Every year October 19th
I celebrate her birthday

I never forget Lucina
She changed my life
Thanks to her i am a better person
Thanks to her i know what i want to do
I want to be a teacher
And change people for the better
I want to help others
Help them feel happy

Lucina my dear friend
I miss you
I love you
I know you are here
You know i will always remember
The girl with a sweet smile
And a kind heart. <3
