I wish I had a friend
to tell me funny stories.
Someone to hang out with,
and not have any worries.
A person I can talk to,
that isn't easy to provoke.
Someone who can laugh,
and understand my jokes.
A person who turns first
to me for special things.
A friend that never forgets me,
and that can share the fun life brings.
A person I can see,
not just a face upon a screen.
A friend, just for me...
a special someone I can lean.
