A Deeper Meaning

A life of fire
burns deep inside

As the days
and nights pass
a desire for truth
and meaning burn deeper...

We are not alone

An interesting piece; when looking within, people are surprised by what they find.

No we are not alone. A desire for truth is a passion of many today. We just want people to be totally honest with us. Great poem, thank you for sharing. RoseAnn (Report) Reply

Thank you Dave! ! ! So much truth runs through what you write, it is so very inspiring and beautiful not only to the eyes to see but the soul to feel. Yes, we are never alone, that burning fire deep inside keeps reminding us that we are never alone. Thank you again! Love and Light. (Report) Reply

There are many awakening Dave. A quote that I once sent Eric: 'It is in solitude that we are least alone'! !
    So, so True! !

    Thankyou.

I like that idea; that as we grow older- we search harder for meaning, for reasons, for living, and why we are here at all..we are cool embers outside but all volcanic heat inside, where nobody sees..great stuff here. (Report) Reply

could it be that the presence that keeps us from being alone is also responsible for the fire...or IS the fire? ........very spiritual :) I like it. (Report) Reply
