A Cricketer And A Poet
It is a long inning
Slowly and patiently
Sometimes in hasty
One by one
Collected poems
By the bat of thought
A cricketer
At the edge of the century
Of runs and points
Is pushed to the victory
By cheers
I wrote and got
Two centuries
Inside my playground
Cheers and hugs
From my heart
To my mind
Midnight
I celebrated
Not out inning
No one who sleeps knows
