2) Climate Change Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

2) Climate Change

2) Climate change
Monday,25th Oct 2021
are we playing butcherer's role?
and calling upon
the destruction of nature
securing the deforestation
how many trees are deliberately burnt?
and we need to bear the brunt,
the changes that are brought
and playing havoc
the temperature is increasing
it causes spat in rivers
flood havoc is causing great concern
and turning population in miserable condition
the mountains are losing the charm
and causing the great harm
the glaciers are melting
the rivers are swelling
the earth is dug
minerals are taken out
thus creating a vacuum inside the belt
the tremors are occasionally felt
