plants are upright
praising the sun
begging clouds
for more rain
holding ground
with their roots

i'm upright beneath a tree
enjoying shade and company
i pour my excess water to roots
break-off dried branches for use
cut-off parasitic vines, wary of sap
it hurts, it will turn your skin to scab

i hope i help this wonderful tree
the next time she will be healthy
bigger trunk, greener leaves
wider shade for me to stay
i wish you and me will do same
love trees and its surroundings
