030910 Unexpected Poem by Manonton Dalan

i was following a new suv
down the tunnel, dark alley
when i heard screeching
i saw an outer ply tumbling
came from that rear tire
firestone, i could remember

nobody hurt, good driver
i'm a bit shaken no brrrrr
and disrupted my thought
but i have ample to recover
traffic movement on pause
i'm thinking for good cause

i have urges to check my tires
i ran over a big pot hole way-back
that almost throw me off my seat
finally road assistance came over
sort the place and let us roll over
what a relief i'm out of that tunnel
