Love Letters

When she was far away, to her I brought you near
And in time of discord, for you I intervened
When she's in doubt I told her how you really feel
When you're at fault apologies I brought to her
Loyal I was to you, servile without complaint

Then things went wrong and now far away she is gone
Your heart's burning with rage and in flame now I am
Is that how you repay... what I get in return?
