If honesty could be increased by taking a pill,
I would have given you a thousand pills,
For you have got an honesty deficiency syndrome,
Nothing about you is real, was real.

The Groom

Like a tree I will provide you with shade and protect you from all harm,
Like a star I will be your light in the darkness that never fades,
...

In your eyes I saw everything that I needed to know,
Filled with tears and the long face you wore,
it was quite undeniable the pain was there,
for a long time I sat, staring at you saying nothing,
...

Like a beggar I'm now forced to beg,
A little more of your time I need,
I miss your presence I confess,
when they pass by me,
...

I put efforts for you to recognize the fact that I loved you,
We talked, we texted, and even met several times,
Seeing you smile, was my target whenever with you,
Had you gotten something to eat? were you sad? happy? worried or scared? I was always concerned.
...

For the past few months I have realized my speed was too much,
I've hit humps mindlessly,
Fallen into potholes without braking,
Sign posts that clearly stated 50 miles per hour, I literally drove at 100.
...

You know the silence you normally give me,
dropping my calls and ignoring my texts,
All those lies you tell me and you want me to believe,
you go on dates with other girls, like I don't exist,
...

Now or never.

Enough with the dating,
After all these years,
...

YOU DON'T KNOW ME.

Sorry I just interrupted your self graduation,
All ready to crown yourself as a person blessed with knowledge,
...

Dear son, you haven't seen her smile have you?
She has teeth as white as snow that makes her smile beautifully,
Her voice alone is something enjoyable to listen to,
You only hear sense when she speaks she's naturally gifted.
...

She stood there with her three year old daughter,
Looking at the little one who could now not move,
He lay down in a small box, eyes closed and mouth shut.
His tiny hands over each other,
...

Dear unborn child,
I don't know whether you are a girl or boy,
And I'm not going for a scan to find out, I love surprises,
Your mummy and I have already done shopping for you,
...

He is still holding on even after being hurt 99 times,
she was monstrous, she was selfish that he knew,
whispered her love and feelings for him at one point,
confessed her intentions of making a family with him one day,
...

We've been to the top of the mountain and in the valley,
We have swam oceans and crossed seas,
You and I have been behind the enemy lines several times,
Through thick and thin, the summer and the winter,
...

He wanted to take it up to the horizon,
I've never seen such a determined guy! Every one wanted to see how he would do it so they washed their faces to ensure sleep doesn't seize them,
He was set, his vehicle could carry a couple of other people but he chose to have and carry only one passenger on board.
'Are you ready my dear? ' he asked her. Swiftly they began the journey when she nodded in agreement,
...

He's got eyes as beautiful as gems,
When he smiles,
Oh I don't want him to stop,
His voice alone,
...

17.

When I said you are free to run to his arms,
I won't be minding if I saw you two holding hands,
When you laugh and smile because of his jokes,
it will never be a burden for me seeing you two going on dates.
...

I cherish the day I met you my Queen,
You are truly God sent,
My life changed from good to best,
The moment you became a part of me.
...

Again and again, what's wrong with me?
I keep on tripping and falling but I don't learn my lesson,
I'm a lover I know but a blind one I guess,
Always driving to the dead end, always.
...

THE FLASHLIGHT

The flashlight
The only thing I could see

The Best Poem Of Oscar Munir

The Last Stroke

If honesty could be increased by taking a pill,
I would have given you a thousand pills,
For you have got an honesty deficiency syndrome,
Nothing about you is real, was real.

I discovered you came from a poor family only after we got married,
A social climber, you had always bragged your parents were rich,
You didn't graduate from Harvard,
On a contrary, you are a college dropout.

You insisted you were a virgin and that I was your first guy,
But you were a divorcee with two kids living with another man,
God I'm so naive, to believe all those guys were your siblings!
Yet you were always meeting and hosting your ex boyfriends!

Oh how I love these two wonderful children!
They have been my world, my very life's existence but,
Discovering that none of them is mine,
Is without a doubt, the last stroke that broke the camel's back.
