Like a chained dog,
We lay, being feed in pretty shiny bowls,
Like a caged bird,
No motivation to fly or reach true goals,

Exhausted bodies fall to their knees,
With maniacal alphabet letters leading the way,
Hair is contorted by the careless breeze,
Punishingly forcing their victims to dance and sway,

Oh quiet soilder,
Lay down your heavy gun,
Oh quiet mother,
Do you really worry about your only son?
...

A sweet child's hair,
Left floating on the sea.
So interfere this day, yet fair,
If this is not a dream, what could it be?

Across the universe and into a sound,
Listen to Lucifer's soft, mad laughter.
The love within' us all is said to be bound,
But our love is cursed with a long flagitious slumber.
