And wonder where you are,
Are you happy, Are you Safe,
Have you healed your scars,

I feel it in my heart,
And deep within my soul,
An undenyable wanting,
An urge I can't control,

Son,
As I lay here on my bed,
Awaiting deaths embrace,
It pains me to see that look of anguish,

Daylight is fading faster with each breathe,
And soon the world will be in the hands of death,
His dark shadow destroying all that is tranquil,
Daylight is fading, Faster still.

You may judge me for my race,
Or the hue and tint of my skin,
You may judge me for my upbringing,
Or the places my home has been,

These hands weren't meant to harm,
They weren't meant to slay,
They were meant to care,
And keep worries at bay.

I look into the mirror,
And what do I see?
A fake smile reflected,
Eye's devoid of all glee,
