Some words often come to mind,

That were not meant...to be unkind.
...

Before the final words are said,
And loves last dreams...are put to bed;
Listen to the hearts...final call
Ere heartbreak comes...to erase it all.

She gave until...
There was nothing left to give.
Buried her soul...
For she wished not to live.
...

If life, toward me was kind,
I would enfold me inside of my own mind.
Walk on the inside of my daydreams;
And never walk out...of them again.
...

Looking at all of the free things in life;
Not in bondage, but given a choice.
Spreading ones wings, to openly soar,
Above all pain...to Heaven's Door.
...

Catch a ride on the western wind,
For it may never blow this way again.
Head out west, where the four winds blow;
No destination, this heart just said ''GO.'

'Words'

Some words often come to mind,

That were not meant...to be unkind.

Words like...'forever' and 'I swear, '

Or saying that, 'I'll always care.'

Or 'darling I love you', 'I'll always stay, '

And that...'I will never go away.'

'By your side I will forever dwell.'

'Gosh you are so sweet, ' or 'I think you're swell.'

For when a lover's heart is broken,

T'is other words that... are spoken.

For... when one lover does depart.

He often leaves with both their hearts.

Then all the former words...come to mind,

Only now they seem...no longer kind.

With bitterness...you often recall...

The way your lover...said them all.

Now, all former words seem unkind,

You look inside of your heart and find;

Nothing but...an empty shell...

And echoing words, recalled...to dwell.

Now all the words...seem like bitter lies;

Unkind words...after all of love dies.
