A Parents Prayer
Behind the walls that few can see
Are the children who have left us
Watching patiently never leaving us be
They are the candles to our soul
Burning away our tears
And the pains that take there toll
They do not like to see us sad
Or to watch us frown upon the world
Thinking it nothing but bad
When we are happy they are close
When we are sad they love us the most
Just remember that they are well and safe
All they need from you
Is to have faith
