Music embraces me, poetry frees me, love enables me, nature inspires me, loss demands me, anger provokes me, to express all that lies within, peace comes at the work of my right hand. Silence permitts my spirit to be bound, in my poetry is where my freedom is found. (Judi Spence) I've been writing since I was 5.. its only the last few years that I realized its not only something I do its who I am. I pour out all that is within. So it no longer can hold me captive..if I can put it on paper its in my hands then..I have controll over it instead of it threatening me. I've been through a little of everything. Some of my poetry comes out f the loss of my only sister in a very tragic way at the age of 16 and being with her when she left this world. Other of my writings come out of my life experiences..day to day emotions and thoughts. I am a wife and a mother of four beautiful little girla and i love God with all my heart. I hope you enjoy!)

I Am She

She is easy to know but so complicated
Complex, misunderstood and elevated
Above who she feels like she is
She holds one close which no longer lives
She is radiant, fearful and never timid
But when she's provoked, she becomes livid
She considers them all before herself
Thinks in the best intrest of everyone else
She's inspirational, loving and forgiving
Looks through eyes of angels at all living
She finds wonder and beauty in all Gods creation
And believes nature to be just a small demonstration
She is easily intrigued by the unusual and deep
She is not easy to hold but she's easy to keep
She's almost everything she desires to be
She is me, and I am she
