You found me roaming in the world
My crumpled heart you unfurled
We spent our days in unmarked time
The mountains were for us to climb.
...

A fragment of your fragrance
Succumbs to the smog of chaos
I reach for a small remembrance
Finding only shards of glances
...

The frankness of the filth
Carved a chasm of disparity
Separating my being from his
Pity gave way to disgust

A circling and tumbling path
Filters its way to the earth below

Frail

You found me roaming in the world
My crumpled heart you unfurled
We spent our days in unmarked time
The mountains were for us to climb.

Tiny breaks formed in the lines
No gold was found down in the mines
We drifted; Now my soul is lost
I'm crashing on this rocky coast
And I'm frail

The decades drip from ancient walls
Life was stolen in our fall
The earth remains in solemn spin
We're left to dream what might have been

I've lost my way on broken trails
I lack the weight to right the scales
I'm sitting in my broken home
Oh, how I hate to be alone
I'm Frail

Frail in endless tears
Frail in unbending years
Frail in my life out here
I'm frail
