Corridors

Dark, unlit corridors
A light shines in the distance
As I draw nearer to it
The more it dances away
So I walk down a pitch-black hall
I feel along the wall hoping for a door
As my hand slips around the knob
Cold chains snap around my wrists and ankles
Violently, I am drawn back to a place I despise
The dark cellar where I chain my emotions
That twist and writhe in their captivity
