Oblivion - Poem by Jared Jones

O' Sweet Oblivion
Come unto me
Writ upon the label
'Jack Daniel's Whiskey'
The days are long
The nights are short
In the distance
I hear a report
I rip the door open
I run down the hall
My emotions are dying
Their blood stains the walls

Poet's Notes about The Poem

This poem just came upon me. I know its pretty dark, but oddly enough it's the first one I liked.
