But Ah! It’s void in me
My aching heart I pray you raise
I give it all to thee

They all had peace and rest.
My waking eyes were open wide
To lie I found it best.

When nothing could comfort give
And when my soul these things abhorred
Christ said come forth and live

Love gave me welcome, yet my soul drew back,
I’m filthy, I’m dirty from sin
But tender-eyed Love, who knew my soul was black
Drew nearer and pulled me in.

Hear me O my Lord
Please come heal my aching cry.
My lips are free from evil
But there is darkness in my eye.

If you keep on sinning
You're not saved the pastor cries.
But we are not saved by works
The pastor as quickly denies

We have a God
Who spoken to our fathers
At various times and various ways
He spoken through the prophets word

Oh words oh words
I can speak you for days.
How different you can be
Diversity marks all your ways.

Are we worthy are we worthy
Is how the Mormon heart beat goes.
The thought of hell is no worry
To be a god is the goal.
