She sat under the yellow tree, singing hymns to life
When rain drops fell on her aspiring soul
She understood she had to continue singing the song
As night fell on the dust around her

I drink the magic potion, now and then
And forget about who I am, now and then
To seek a place safe and secure
To forget about my restraints, now and then

The trajectory of love
and the hopeless attempt to understand it-
They call it 'the ultimate feeling'
I call it a 'flying dove'

Here and now I am
