Chase Breeden Poems

A place I've never been before
That's where I'd like to go
Just somewhere I can lay my head
And rest my tired soul
...

If you see the smoke
Don't cause a commotion
It's only the ash
Of your broken devotion
...

All my bandages expelled,
My bleeding heart unbound,
I've finally exhaled,
Anticipating one more round.
...

It was the best mistake I ever made
That made me who I am today
Despite the pain, all the dismay
I never let it go
...

The best of me is gone
A little piece in all of you
Now we've reached the time
Where I must bid you all adieu
...

How much you sicken me's amazing
Go on, add more fuel, it's blazing
My memory of you is hazing
Soon you will be dead to me
...

All we need to live is love
To live with love of means
To live our lives by giving love
To those on whom we lean
...

I sit in a field surrounded by nothing, and everything
I'm content here, but it's so uncomfortable
I am invincible, but I am vulnerable
I'm young and I will never grow old.
...

They say that rivers always fork, my friend;
That currents change with every wind;
But still, the waters see no end;
The river rolls on strong
...

Like the sun subdues the dark of night
She lights the world around her
Blind, was I, by shadows might
Until the day I found her
...

I closed my eyes to dream a dream
A dream that things were what they seemed
But in the dreaming of my dream
You slowly slipped away
...

Just give it up
Let it die
It isn't like you didn't try
To save her soul
...

They say that good guys never win
And I'd say I must agree
Looks like I'm starting new again
Because another one's left me
...

Learning what love was
Was something I hated
Searching for something
That could not be created
...

Exceeding the bleeding
Not heeding the meaning
Of what it means to be leaning
Right up against the wall
...

Deception, mere transgression
You keep locked inside yourself
Hiding feelings tucked away
And placed upon the shelf
...

The Best Poem Of Chase Breeden

A Place I'Ve Never Been Before

A place I've never been before
That's where I'd like to go
Just somewhere I can lay my head
And rest my tired soul
Somewhere to take the fear away
To get rid of the pain
Somewhere to keep me safe and warm
A shelter from the rain
A place where no one knows me
And no one knows my past
Somewhere where I can find myself
And live my life, at last
A place I've never been before
That's where I want to be
To hide away in shadows
So that I can not be seen
To a world of selfish people
Unfaithful, solemn vows
Only interacting
so that we might take our bows
To bring about accomplishments of the successful 'me' and 'mine'
Forgetting heart love and passion
After all, who has the time?
A place somewhere that's far away
My own world of make-believe
My place of peace, contentment
That the world cannot percieve
A place I've never been before
That's where I'd like to go
Just somewhere I can lay my head
And rest my tired soul
Somewhere to take the fear away
To get rid of the pain
Somewhere to keep me safe and warm
A shelter from the rain
A place where no one knows me
And no one knows my past
Somewhere where I can find myself
And live my life, at last
