Yet when the world seems so small
And you feel so big and tall
But you don't know what's next
All over again everything's scattered into a big mess

Will there ever be an end to all this pain.
Everyday tears fall from people's eyes like rain
A deaf man selling sign language cards on the train for a living
With sadness in his eyes and his heart with blood spilling
...

As I lay there, blood dripping out my wrist
I'm so weak can't move my fingers to make a fist
I feel so peaceful, I feel so calm
I like the warm feeling of blood striding against my palm
...

Rain pounds on the floor
And each dropp a man dies at War
Every punch that has so much pain that they take
And there move is the next big decision that they have to make
...

As the years passed by, my have bones have grown big and strong
And it's not because of all the milk I drank, but because all the hell we've been among
I now really know what's wrong and right
I've seen darkness come from the light
...

Dreaming your whole life to be that successful musician
But your to poor to pay that tuition
Being that thinker
Letting your imagination linger
...

As you lay in your death bed cold and weak.
And when you die you hope to seek
Bright white lights upon your eyes
Instead of fire because all your sins and lies
...

I wonder if the Earth ever sleeps.
Or smile, laughs, or weeps
I wonder if it understands us when we talk
Or if we tickle it's back with every step we take when we walk
...

When will time ever stop?
Will it be when the sun or moon pops?
Will we all be ready for that day?
I wonder what people would do or say
...

My stomach growls for food
People look at me like I'm a creature they act so rude
My nails are filled with dirt
And I got holes all over my pants and shirt
...
