Struggling Pain Poem by Carolina Soto

Struggling Pain

Will there ever be an end to all this pain.
Everyday tears fall from people's eyes like rain
A deaf man selling sign language cards on the train for a living
With sadness in his eyes and his heart with blood spilling
A man who's daughter just died
She gave up in life and committed suicide
Walked into her room and saw her in the closet hung on a rope
He's going to have that image for ever sadness is all cope
Or a girl who's desperate to be understood
No one wants to listen to her even if they could
There's a young woman who's been diagnosed with cancer
But there's nothing they could do to cure her
Or a boy who's new to drugs
And overdosed himself from buying to much from thugs
Or a group of 3 yr old's who's mother is an alcoholic and gets drunk everyday
They starve, but they got nowhere else to stay.
