The sky will soon become a ray of light
And send the darkness into deep decline,
It will no longer be the black, of night,
The sun will call the sky sweet child of mine;
...

This distance between you and I is real.
It’s tearing us apart like hungry dogs.
I never really thought how this would feel.
Our love has been covered;
...

You stand alone in thick, blue water.
It is clear to me the things you taught her.
You’re unlike any tree I’ve ever seen;
The way your reflection smiles back at me.
...

Do you ever do anything right?
You always seem to undo my chores.
Even in the dead of the night
Your dirty feet find my clean floors.
...

A fib is a single moment in time
When everything is wrong
And begins a new crime
You try to be strong
...

My Sky

The sky will soon become a ray of light
And send the darkness into deep decline,
It will no longer be the black, of night,
The sun will call the sky sweet child of mine;
The people, will be eager to get out,
But still unsure of what they have not found,
The streets will fill with clearly extreme doubt,
And in the center on the highest mound
There I will be, calling out your sweet name;
Because you are the blue that paints my sky,
You are the heat that packs my sun with flame
That burns for days; -then when you’re not there my
Sky cries for you to come home, and to stay
So be my sun so light will never stray.
