A clock will count down the year's
It can rewind and replay your deepest fears
Up to the second where your faith has been
Lost

I'll embrace this pain because it's all I've ever known
Instead of showing me the way of life
You've showed me the joys of being alone
My nightmares unraveling in the darkness

The glass hits the wall and shatters into bits and pieces
The fragments of one's broken life falls to the floor
The shards stay still and no one see's them
they're invisible, transparent, pellucid
...

You've taught me this everlasting pain
Strung together by these lies
Chained to the darkness from day one
This is how I've lived my life
